Routes 2 Roots-ICCR Filmmaking Competition Prize Distribution Held

The much-anticipated results of the Routes 2 Roots-Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) International Filmmaking Competition were recently announced, highlighting the global talent that participated in the competition. The top prize was awarded to Arun Ashok, a filmmaker from Melbourne, Australia, for his powerful short film “The Throw,” which explored the theme of "Beyond Borders." Arun’s thought-provoking work was recognized for its insightful commentary on societal issues.

The award ceremony, held at the Indian Consulate in Melbourne, was graced by Dr. Sushil Kumar, the Consul General, who felicitated Arun and presented him with the prize money.
