Routes 2 Roots has not just initiated a cultural movement for the school-going students of India, it has set the
trend for some of the most innovatively and aesthetically curated cultural showcases representing the schools on
their momentous occasions. Designing special themes and concepts for Annual Day functions and other such
significant events for schools, engaging cultural experts and artistes to collaborate in curating the pieces and
packaging the complete showcase with its look and sound are part of the cultural-hand-holding the NGO does with
its signature panache.
After a mesmerising dance show case for Vidya Utsav in 2025 curated and designed by Kathak maestro Rani Khanum,
Bal Bharati School has once again entrusted Routes 2 Roots this year for their Annual Day function being
celebrated in Delhi with the participation of the seven branches of the NCR. This year, both, the music as well
as the dance pieces have been curated by the NGO’s cultural team and the expert artistes brought in by the NGO.
The rehearsals are in full swing at the Ganga Ram branch, with students learning intricate music pieces and
dance forms under the guidance and direction of Odissi legend Sharon Lowen, music maestro Mukesh Sharma and
Hindustani Classical expert Shreya Aggarwal, to regale the audience on 7th February. Here are some glimpses from
the rehearsals!
