As part of the PM Shri initiative undertaken by Routes 2 Roots in schools, a new activity was introduced under
the Atal Tinkering Lab. Under this project, students actively engaged in hands-on learning and innovation,
creating a total of 56 diverse projects. These included practical and impactful models such as a rain alarm and
a water harvesting alarm, addressing real-life challenges through simple yet effective solutions.
The projects were developed using a variety of components such as buzzers, alarms, LED bulbs, sensors, and other
electronic materials. Students explored key focus areas including robotics and embedded systems, gaining
experience in sensor integration, motor control, and basic automation.
This initiative has helped students strengthen their technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving
abilities, reflecting the commitment of Routes 2 Roots towards promoting experiential learning and nurturing
future innovators.
Routes 2 Roots has been carrying on various cultural activities in schools for children including Guitar and
Keyboard workshops in Karnataka, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) such as Vedic Maths, Yoga and Astrology sessions
in Uttarakhand and Self Defense for girls, Girls Adolescence Programme and Mentoring sessions in Madhya Pradesh.
