Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts Sign CSR Initiative with Routes 2 Roots

The Routes 2 Roots Cultural Education Plan is gathering strength as partners and donors join the initiative to add momentum to the objective of taking education beyond known horizons for schools across India. Another boost in the arm for the program has been the coming together of Leela, Palaces, Hotels & Resorts to provide financial CSR aid to the NGO to expand the reach of the program. With this tie-up in August, schools have been added to the Routes 2 Roots expanse in the cities of Bengaluru, Udaipur and Mumbai to provide them cultural education classes in various disciplines of performing arts as well as workshops in their schools. Routes 2 Roots gurus in these cities will visit the schools to hold lecture, demonstration and training sessions for students in music, dance and other art forms. The schools will also be equipped with interactive smart flat panels to digitise and upgrade the classrooms for an enhanced learning experience. We look forward to a meaningful tie-up to further the education system across schools in India.
