Schools Re-open to Performing Arts Workshops of Routes 2 Roots

Routes 2 Roots Workshops are a much-awaited phenomena in schools across India now. The comprehensive training and lecture cum demonstrations sessions have educated lakhs of students about Indian art forms of dance, music, theatre and other disciplines. As exponents of different art forms travel across states to educate students, they also generate interest in Indian heritage among the younger generation making their learning experience extremely wholesome. July’s workshops of Routes 2 Roots included various disciplines.

Odissi sessions were held across Andhra Pradesh in Steel Plant, Waltair, INS Kalinga, Nausenabagh, Kakinada, Srivijayanagar, Iluru, Rajamundari, Vijayawada, Guntur, Ongole, Machilipatnam, Rajampalli and Vijayanagaram. Hindustani Classical Vocal workshops were conducted in schools of Telangana including Picket, Barkas, Kanchanbagh, Hakimpet, Bolarum, Golconda, Shivarampalli, Dundigal, Begumpet, Ghatkesar, Bodan, Nizamabad, Siddhipet, Karimnagar, Sircilla and Miryalaguda. Delhi schools across the NCR were witness to extensive training sessions by leading exponents through Kathak workshops. Here are the most memorable moments.
