Results of Routes 2 Roots-ICCR International Class Exams Declared

The beginner-level international classes of Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Odissi held by Routes 2 Roots and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) from January 2024 for students from different countries concluded between December 2024 and January 2025. Registered students from 64 countries worldwide attended the classes regularly throughout the year to learn the art forms and joined the live digital classes organised by the NGO.

The Beginner level course concluded with exams of the students conducted by their gurus, who are teachers from the faculty of Routes 2 Roots as well as senior external examiners Dr Kiran Segal - for Odissi, Kamalini and Nalini Dutt - for Kathak and Rama Vaidyanathan for Bharatanatyam. The exams tested the students' ability, progress and grasping power through viva and practical tests. Those who displayed ample comprehension and qualified for further learning have been promoted to the intermediate level. We congratulate the participants for their passion and dedication to learning, look forward to seeing them in the following classes and hope that the ones who could not qualify will learn from the archival classes made available to them.
