The International courses started by Routes 2 Roots conducted in collaboration with Indian
Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in nine different disciplines of classical and folk art
forms have dedicated students from 88 different countries globally. The classes run digitally
and conducted by the leading dancers, musicians and folk artistes of the country have
grown exponentially in terms of their following and audience in the last two years. As the
second year approaches its conclusion in May and June, examinations for the same have
commenced with students appearing for evaluations. The first ever digital classes to be run
internationally across the world provide certification at the end of each year-long course
and assessment, which is conducted by the faculty as well as the external examiners
appointed by the certification body, Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University
(OPRTOU). As we head towards the digital examinations consisting of both theory as well as
practical assessment, the courses wind up for the year. We look forward to a new batch of
enthusiastic learners from across the globe in 2026.
We are pleased to share DG, ICCR’s congratulatory note and appreciation for the wonderful
efforts of Routes 2 Roots in spreading cultural education across the world. Director General ICCR K Nandini

your dedication and hard work in promoting Indian culture abroad through these online courses." Her words of
encouragement have infused fresh motivation, as the team commits itself to taking this program to newer
milestones over the coming year.
