Routes 2 Roots and its initiative of creating a positive change in the world through the spread of culture and
cultural education has gone from strength to strength transcending the restrictions of geographical boundaries
and breaking all records over the years. From educating millions of students in the remotest corners of India to
spreading the colours of Indian culture in countries across the world, the institution has come a long way in
the
last decade since this program was initiated. And all of this has only been possible with the generous and
unstinting support of our partners and our donors who have believed in our vision and share our passion for
strengthening the development of the future generations of India.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Max India Foundation for providing aid to this program multiple years in
succession and helping us to add more schools and students to our beneficiary universe. We would also like to
thank BMW Foundation for seeing merit in our vision and helping to strengthen the initiative further. Their
support has enabled the NGO to equip many additional schools across various parts of the country to the program
and
provide education by leading teachers to students located in remote areas of India that do not have access to
these facilities.
We are also extremely grateful to our partners in the International Cultural Educations courses, Indian Council
for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) for adding their might
to the initiative which was started to spread the richness of Indian performing arts and heritage across the
world. This leg of the program was also introduced to help connect the Indian diaspora as well as other overseas
enthusiasts of Indian art forms across the globe to Indian culture, while enabling them to learn from the
illustrious faculty of the art forms that Routes 2 Roots has on its panel. ICCR helped to achieve this objective
by maximising our reach, which is now as broad as 88 countries. To make the program and courses even more
meaningful for the international students, Routes 2 Roots entered into a tie-up with UPRTOU to provide
certification to the enrolled students on completion of their course.
The program has now expanded into a multi-year course in nine different disciplines, which is offered to
thousands across the globe and we are delighted to share that the tie-up between ICCR, Routes 2 Roots and UPRTOU
has been renewed for yet another year. We will soon be commencing a new batch of nine disciplines, some at a
more advanced level and in-depth learning and with some new introductions.
